Then people ask me what my biggest regret it.
And I have nothing that stands out because honestly, I don’t really know what I do or don’t regret.
I mean yes, there are a handful of things that stick out in the past that I should regret, and I may actually do regret a bit but not to the point where I wish it never happened.
After all, who I am today is someone is a product of the events in the past. I am who I am as a person because of what I experienced in the past. Everything that builds up my morals and my actions and my thoughts and my viewpoints as a human being in the present is based on how I handled the situations in the past. If there was anything I could change about the past, I don’t think I would. No, my life isn’t perfect and I will never be fully content with the person I am because everyone has room to grow and aspire to be a genuine living being with good intentions, but I think I’ve come to accept myself, which is peaceful enough for me. I think people live too long in the past and forget there’s nothing you can do to change anything about it. If there’s anything I want more in the world, it is to be myself at the end of this journey and to know I am myself in its fullest, with all of my regrets or not.
